While 2024 won’t see the degree of changes or uncertainty that we saw in 2023, there is enough to ensure things don’t become stuck while at the same time, giving you enough certainty to feel grounded. The latter is coming from Saturn, who having returned to Pisces last March to begin a new three decade long Saturn cycle of learning and growth is now well and truly settled. Saturn is here for the whole of 2024, which means that he won’t be changing things up and as he and Neptune, the planet of dreams and your ruling planet won’t leave until early 2026, they will continue to work as an unlikely team. As you move into the New Year Saturn has retrograded back to the start of Pisces so he and Neptune are still too far apart to connect, but back in direct motion that gap will close and as it does the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes in order to turn dreams into reality will increase, but with little or no urgency. Where there is change is with Pluto and Jupiter, the only planets that will make any significant changes this year apart from the normal passage of the faster planets. The year begins with Jupiter in his first full day in direct motion in your communication sector, after his four months in retrograde motion ended on New Year’s Eve. With Jupiter not leaving until 26th May and with a huge amount of support during his final weeks, the year gets off to a lucky and expansive start for all aspects of communication. With the asteroid Juno in your relationship sector until 10th August, a time of year when there is rarely any planetary activity on the relationship front, this is something that your relationships can benefit from. Especially as Juno is the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships. This is something that will be a support for Pluto in his final weeks in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking before he and the Sun leave on 21st January and for the planets that will stay on after they leave. Between then Mars, Venus, Mercury and the dwarf planet Ceres will keep things active until 8th February, after which your friendship sector will be empty. Pluto will retrograde back in for 11 weeks from 2nd September to 20th November, but the planet of change and revolution is getting ready to leave his home of the last 16 years. It is then that Pluto will return to your sector of subconscious thinking, imagination and review, where for the next 20 years he will work to open your mind and transform your thinking to a more authentic view. Pluto will also be a support for Jupiter, who on 26th May will return to begin your biggest year for growth and expansion on the home, family and/or property fronts in over a decade.
While there is no planetary activity on the romantic front as you move into the New Year and there is no major planetary activity on the relationship front, what you have there is a thread that is having a subtle but important impact. Late to return to your relationship sector last year because of a retrograde turn and therefore late to leave, when Venus left your relationship sector in October 2023 this should have left your relationship sector empty. Instead, it was while Venus was here that the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships returned for her first visit in four years. Usually here for two months, Juno should have left by now but instead, a retrograde turn on 13th January will keep her here until 10th August. Juno’s influence won’t be overt, but her sense of commitment is there to draw on until Mercury, the planet of communication returns on 26th July and Venus on 5th August. Before then, matters of the heart will get some much needed attention as the first of two romantically charged periods kicks off when Venus, the planet of love returns to your romantic sector from 17th June to 12th July. Mercury, the planet of communication will return on the same day and the Sun four days later on 21st June. This is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always fall onto matters of the heart and all things romantic. However, by the time the Sun leaves on 22nd July Venus and Mercury will both be gone and your romantic sector will once again be empty. However, a second chapter will run from 5th September to 4th November when Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos makes his first visit to your romantic sector in two years. Mars will return right in the heart of the most active months of the year on the relationship front, which will run from Mercury’s return to your relationship sector on 26th July and his departure on 26th September. In that time Mercury, the planet of communication will dip in and out while Venus, the planet of love will return from 5th August to 30th August and the Sun, as he does each year will have the solar spotlight on your relationships from 23rd August to 22nd September.
Since 1926 the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos has been in your income sector, meaning that this side of the financial fence will always be active. While for the majority of the year Eris is a subtle presence, this is something to draw on when comes to fighting for what you deserve. Because Eris will always spend the second half of each year in retrograde motion and won’t turn direct until 12th January, the brakes might be on as you move into the New Year, but with another secret weapon giving you a lucrative sense of direction from the start. For the first time in 18 years, you are moving into the New Year with the North Node in your income sector and not leaving until January 2025, its foresight and focus on moving things forward will be here all year. That includes during the most lucrative months of the year, which is when the faster planets move through and it also means that the New Moon here on 9th April will be a total solar eclipse, creating the potential for a major breakthrough. The most lucrative months of the year will begin with Mercury’s return on 10th March for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. Instead, a retrograde turn will keep Mercury here until 16th May, putting him here when Venus moves through from 5th April to 28th April and when, as the planet of money she will be working to make these the most lucrative weeks of the year. Mercury will also be here when Mars returns on 1st May, with the warrior planet of the cosmos staying on until 9th June. It is every two years that Mars and Eris, the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos will meet up in your income sector and this is when some real breakthroughs can happen. Meanwhile, while having the North Node in your income sector and the South Node in your financial sector all year is helping to keep things balanced, there will be no planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence, where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have until the second half of the year. It starts with the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment returning for her first visit to your financial sector in four years on 10th August, with Venus returning on 30th August, the Sun on 22nd September and Mercury on 26th September. They will all move through quickly and will be gone by 14th October, but with Juno staying on to cement your financial intentions and resolutions before she too leaves on 3rd November.
