Year 2023

There is such a mixed bag of influences this year that for you, 2023 can’t come under one single label. Yes, this will become a massive year for job growth and expansion and with the potential to be a lucrative year. Yet at the same time, Jupiter is spending the first five months of the year in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart while in the middle months of the year Venus will make her longest visit to an adventurous part of your chart in our lifetime. Not only that, Mars will help to kick this off by fuelling a passion for adventure just as major new doors are opening on the job front. While much of this is yet to unfold, this makes it important to begin the year mindful of a need for work/life balance from the start. This is something that shouldn’t be a stretch, with the only planet already in your work sector in retrograde motion as you move into the New Year and Jupiter having just returned to a playful and creative part of your chart 11 days before. You will also begin the year with Mars still in retrograde motion in your relationship sector, something that has kept him here since August and by the time he leaves on 26th March, this will have become his longest visit in eight decades. Fortunately, you not only have Saturn in your communication sector until 8th March, but Venus will return on 3rd January, with her mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice beginning while Mars is still in retrograde motion, while she won’t leave until two weeks after he turns direct on 13th January. Support to keep the communication lines open will continue even after Saturn leaves, with Pluto returning to your communication sector on 24th March for the first time in our lifetime, just two days before Mars leaves your relationship sector on 26th March. All the while Jupiter will be building up speed, as he works to make the most of a visit to your romantic and creative sector that began last May but had to be put on hold. Until leaving on 17th May, Jupiter is working to make this a lucky and expansive year for matters of the heart and all things fun, playful, romantic and creative. It is then that Jupiter will join Uranus in your work sector, where for the next 12 months the planet of luck and expansion and the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected will work together for the first time here in our lifetime, as they begin the biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade. With Pluto leaving your income sector on 24th March but retrograding back in on 11th June, this could have lucrative implications. However, making sure that life doesn’t become all work and no play will be Venus, who from 6th June to 9th October will be making her longest visit to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery in our lifetime.

Year 2023

Starting the year with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in your romantic sector not only makes 2022 a lucky year for love from the start but this is something that you have spent months preparing for. Jupiter first returned to your romantic sector in May 2022 but a retrograde turn saw him retrograde back out at the end of October. Once in direct motion Jupiter was on his way back, returning just before Christmas to deliver the Christmas present of a lifetime. As you move into 2023 Jupiter has only been here for 11 days but with five months already under his belt, both you and he are ready to hit the ground running. However, things will really take off when what could be the most romantically charged weeks of 2023 begin with Venus’ return on 20th February, with the planets of love and luck working as a team until 17th March. With Mercury returning on 19th March and the Sun on 21st March, they will take over from where Venus left off, with the solar spotlight on matters of the heart and on Jupiter’s influence through to 20th April. During that time there will be not one but two New Moons. The first on 22nd March will be an ordinary New Moon, though the first with lucky Jupiter here in over a decade. It is four weeks later that a second New Moon, this time a solar eclipse on 20th April will bring luck, fate and the potential for major new beginnings together. With Jupiter leaving less than a month later on 17th May, this will be a push to make these final weeks count. After that, it is not just the Moon’s return every four weeks that will keep the spirit of romance alive but the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos, who will quietly keep things ticking over. Meanwhile, you also begin the year with Mars not only still in your relationship sector but in retrograde motion. Mars returned in August for what is normally a six week mission to help you fight for what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. Instead, a retrograde turn has not only kept Mars here but by the time he eventually leaves on 26th March, he will have been here for seven months, his longest visit in eight decades. Once Mars turns direct on 13th January his focus will shift from the past and onto the journey ahead, working during that time with Saturn, who is in your communication sector until 8th March. With Mars gone this will leave your relationship sector empty, until Venus returns on 11th April to begin the annual attention that your relationships get. From Venus’ return on 11th April to Mercury’s departure on 27th June there will be a chance to build on from what Mars began.

Year 2023

Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on your income situation, matters and options as you move into the New Year. While Mars won’t visit your income sector in 2023, every planet that will spend time here this year are all here from day one and while they won’t stay here, this gets this new financial year off to an empowered and potentially lucrative start. The first to leave will be Venus, with the planet of money leaving on 3rd January and then unlike the Sun and Mercury, who will both return in December, then not returning until 2024. This makes it important to listen to your heart and to focus more on wishful thinking as you move into the new financial year with the Sun, Mercury and Pluto staying to help with the when, where and how. While the Sun and Mercury are only passing through, starting the year with Pluto, the planet of change and revolution here has been the norm since his return in 2008 and after they leave, he will keep the wheels turning. The Sun will leave on 20th January, but Mercury will stay on and that will prove to be a major advantage. Mercury returned in early December 2022 for what is normally a two week chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game and to think on your feet but instead, a retrograde turn will keep him here until 11th February. Mercury is still in retrograde motion as you move into this new financial year and until turning direct on 19th January brings a chance to spend time back at the drawing board. What makes Mercury’s extended stay significant is on 24th March Pluto will leave, leaving your income sector empty for the first time in over 14 years. That won’t be the case for long, with Pluto retrograding back in on 11th June but this is the beginning of the end of his time here, leaving again in January before returning later next year, then not returning again in our lifetime. What makes the timing of Pluto’s return on 11th June significant is that he will retrograde back in to ensure no stones have been left unturned just weeks after Jupiter will return to your work sector on 17th May to begin your biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade. Meanwhile, the other side of the financial fence will get a much needed boost when Mars returns for his first visit to your financial sector in two years on 26th March. This is early in the year for planetary activity on this side of the financial fence, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have but the timing couldn’t be better. Mars is here until 21st May and Venus from 8th May to 6th June, with the planets of money and passion able to operate during the only time this year or in the last 14 years when there is no planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence. It is in June and July that the Sun and Mercury will focus more on financial housekeeping.
