There is a lot of change in the air this month with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars all ending the month in a different part of your chart from where they began, four planets turning retrograde. Mercury will spend time in three areas of your chart, with his intellectually savvy and articulate edge having multiple benefits. In the case of the Sun, Venus and Mercury they are all venturing into areas of your chart for the first time this year, with a lot of new beginnings, while Mars is following up the rear to exploit the potential already created. That is the case on the financial front, with Mars spending his first three weeks of the month in your financial sector. While Jupiter left your financial sector in May, Mars’ return just 14 days later gave the warrior planet of the cosmos a chance to piggyback off and exploit his 12 month quest for financial growth and expansion. Where Jupiter was here for a year, Mars only has six weeks with his financial passions and fighting spirit helping to not just exploit the potential Jupiter has created but to take your financial power back. It is on 21st July that Mars will follow Jupiter into your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery, where for the next six weeks he will fuel a passion for adventure and a hunger for life’s richer experiences. Until then, from the Sun’s departure on 21st June, Jupiter has a month on his own and not leaving until June 2025, this will be a chance to look to the future as you explore your options before Mars’ call to take action kicks in. Meanwhile, the Sun, Venus and Mercury all begin the month in your career sector, just as Saturn and Neptune are turning retrograde in your work sector. This will see new doors open on the career front just as they open to the past, second chances and untapped potential on the job front. Meanwhile, as first Mercury leaves on 3rd July, Venus on 12th July and the Sun on 22nd July, it will be to begin the first planetary activity in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking this year.

On both the romantic and relationship fronts, the focus has already shifted onto the past or will have by the end of the month. Pluto, who returned to your romantic sector in January has been in retrograde motion since early May and will remain in retrograde motion until retrograding back out in September, only to return 11 weeks later and then spend the next 20 years here. While Pluto spent just under three months here in 2023, he is not only here for longer this year but has a lot more support. Pluto is on especially good terms with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion who returned to an adventurous part of your chart in May. As was the case when the Sun, Venus and Mercury returned, Jupiter spent his early days at a friendly aspect to Pluto but will remain an ally until he leaves in June 2025, together promoting the spirit of romance and adventure. While Jupiter begins the month on his own, Mars’ return to an adventurous part of your chart on 21st July will see him move into a friendly aspect to Pluto, creating a potent mix of nostalgia, romance, passion and adventure. With the Moon returning to your romantic sector from 21st July to 23rd July, these romantically charged lunar vibes will make this even more potent, just as Pluto is holding the doors open to the past and second chances. Meanwhile, while the month begins with both planets in your relationship sector still in direct motion, they are slowing down ahead of Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos’ retrograde turn on 22nd July and Chiron, planet of healing’s retrograde turn on 27th July. These are planets that have been here for years and in Eris’ case for decades and they will always spend the second half of each year in retrograde motion. The difference this year is that the North Node is spending the whole of 2024 in your relationship sector and apart from working with the South Node to police a balance between your own and your relationship needs, it will keep an eye on the future. The Moon’s return from 26th July to 28th July will ensure you are emotionally engaged and aware as the tide turns.

While there is no planetary activity in your income sector, hasn’t been all year and won’t be for several months, there could be some unexpected developments thanks to the Moon and Venus. However, from the start the focus is on the other side of the financial fence and has been all year and in fact, ever since Jupiter returned in May 2023 to begin your biggest year for financial growth and expansion in over a decade. Jupiter left in May but having the Sun, Venus and Mercury here during his final weeks has left you aware, motivated and with the smart head for money needed to keep on top of money matters. This is when the reins were handed back to Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected and the planet charged with keeping things on track until he leaves in 2026. However, that wasn’t the case for long with Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos having returned 14 days after Jupiter left to begin his first visit in two years. Until leaving on 21st July Mars will continue to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit in what is not only a fight to take your financial power back but to exploit the potential for financial growth and expansion that Jupiter has created. The Moon will spend the first two days of the month here, ensuring your financial instincts and imagination are fuelled and you are emotionally engaged from the start. By the time the Moon comes full circle from 28th July to 30th July Mars will be gone and it will finally be time to settle into the journey itself. Meanwhile, while there is no planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence with Venus, the planet of money in your career sector until 12th July and closely aligned with Saturn and Neptune in your work sector, she will be doing her best to ensure that where things go professionally the money will follow. Helping to give this a nudge will be the Moon’s return to your income sector from 15th July to 17th July.
