While the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your career sector, something that puts the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options at this time every year, this also brings you to an important turning point in this professional year. It was in the final days of June that Neptune turned retrograde in your work sector, slowing things down while shifting the focus onto the past, second chances and untapped job potential. After the adrenaline ride that the first five months of the year had taken you on, this is a chance to pull back and focus more on exploiting what has already been invested. Your work sector is the busiest part of your chart so this will see life become less busy while at the same time new doors are opening and there are new career options to explore. While the Sun will leave on 23rd July, Venus’ return on 18th July will keep this going well into next month. Before then, Venus will be working to make her final weeks in an adventurous part of your chart count, just as Saturn is spending his first full month in retrograde motion in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. This and a drop in urgency on the job front should make it easier to find a balance between work and play while still enjoying what should be a good month professionally. Meanwhile, while things could be a little heated on the relationship front at the start of the month, until leaving your relationship sector on 5th July, Mars is firing up a drive to fight for what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. With Jupiter staying on in your relationship sector, this is something your relationships will continue to benefit from. Your relationships will also benefit from the support they will get as first Mercury, the planet of communication returns to your friendship sector on 20th July and the Sun on 23rd July.
It is rare to have a lot of focus on your relationships at this time of year but then this was already an extraordinary year. Having not only spent the whole of June in your relationship sector but alongside Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, Mars is getting ready to leave. Mars who returned just days after Jupiter in May and spend his early days here aligned was able to inject his passion and warrior spirit in the early days of this expansive new relationship period. With Venus, the planet of love still here at the time, this gave you a sense of what you were fighting for from the start. Knowing that once he leaves your relationship sector on 5th July it will be another two years until he returns, Mars will be working to inject the kind of passion and urgency that will encourage you to fight for what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. This could create a lot of intensity at the start of the month and especially as it was in the closing days of June that Mars caught up and aligned with the dwarf planet Eris, bringing the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos together. This will drop back once Mars leaves and with Jupiter slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn on 29th July, there will be a chance to catch your breath. This is a retrograde turn that will see Jupiter retrograde back out at the end of October, only to return before Christmas to spend another five months here. This is still the early stage of a journey towards stronger and richer relationships, with Mars able to shake things up in a way that you can then build on from. The Moon’s return from 18th July to 21st July will be a chance to check in. Meanwhile, an alliance between Saturn, in his first full month in retrograde motion in your romantic sector and Venus, the planet of love in an adventurous part of your chart until 18th July will create a mix of romance, adventure and nostalgia.
When Venus left your financial sector on 23rd June, this should have and for a time has seen money matters dial back. It was Mercury’s departure a week earlier that wrapped up a double dip visit that has left you with a smart head for money, while Venus has left you with your financial expectations for the coming year banked. With Uranus in your financial sector from 2019 to 2026 money matters will never go off the boil but once the last of the faster planets have moved through, it then becomes more about staying on track. In addition, this year you have the lunar nodes in your two money houses. From January 2022 to July 2023, the North Node will provide a sense of financial direction and purpose that will make it even easier to stay on track. At the same time, its partner the South Node in your income sector is not only giving you access to untapped income potential but is working to maintain a balance between money coming in and money going out. With a lot of activity on the career front this month, this could make this normally active point in any professional year a lot more lucrative than is normally the case. However, the other side of the financial fence isn’t ready to go back onto autopilot just yet. On 5th July, just when money matters should be dialling back Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos will return for the first time in two years. Returning after the Sun, Mercury and Venus have moved through, allows Mars to build on the momentum that has already been created while taking advantage of the financial housekeeping already done. Mars is returning to fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit in what will become a nearly seven week drive to take your financial power back. The Moon’s return from 21st July to 23rd July will give you a better read on this.
